I bought this seat over a year ago and one of the screws on the fitting constantly loosens and you have to take the whole thing off to re-tighten it. I thought paying this much it would be worth it, it isn't.

I bought this at John Lewis and have been disappointed. The finish is not perfect - there were funny circular marks on it from when it was first opened from the packaging that would not come off. Also it is a high gloss finish and shows EVERY single mark. With two small children it is constantly covered in fingerprints and without being rude it also leaves an imprint from where you have sat on it! As a result it constantly looks dirty and drives me mad having to wipe it every five minutes. Unfortunately I lost the receipt so can't take it back but will be replacing it with a plain black loo seat from Bemis which is half the price. Big mistake purchase.
