This little gem is superb value and performs exceptionally well for the money.
My girlfriend (who I consider to be uninterested in all things high tech) and I purchased this to use on her HDTV which she has had for about a year and never even realised it was HD capable.
She has after viewing a movie through the player openly admitted the picture quality is great and that it's a worthwhile investment. We have also noticed significant improvement in sound quality over our old dvd player, over all an impressive player for such little cost!!!

I would not hesitate to recommend this player to those on a tight budget, just be sure to purchase a good quality £10.00 HDMI lead to get full benefit from the machine.
